The John and Geraldine Lilley Museum of Art at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) had its grand opening on January 25, 2019, in Reno. For the past 20 years as a public school art educator, I’ve asked my students to do a “Daily Drawing” at the beginning of class. I write a prompt on the board, usually silly, to help them begin. I tell them there is no wrong answer with the Daily Drawing; it is the act of doing a drawing that is important.
