Sierra Nevada Forums invites you to a forum about our most precious resource: WATER. We will explore issues relevant to quantity, not quality, with discussion about over-allocations, the tension between development and sustainability, and pending legislation currently under consideration, intended to clarify this complex issue.

Ed James, who is the general manager of Water Subconservancy District, will moderate the panel. Panel members include Howard Watts, Great Basin Water Network; Steve Walker, Lobbyist with Walker & Associates; State Senator Pete Goicochea; and David Rigdon of Taggart & Taggart, Ltd.

This program is free, and all are welcome to attend. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. For information, call 775-690-3913.

The mission of Sierra Nevada Forums is to provide citizens with fact-based, verifiable information to assist them in making well-informed decisions on issues of importance to our community and beyond.
