Son of former Soviet Prime Minister Nikita Krushchev, Dr. Sergei Khrushchev is an academic and expert on Russian history, economics, politics, and glo al relations.

The public is cordially invited to attend this free lecture, but seating is limited, so please RSVP for this event by calling 702-794-5151. A Meet and Greet will precede the lecture from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the lecture begins at 2:30.

Dr. Khrushchev's lecture, coinciding with the 55th anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis, will explore the complex relationship betwen the United States and Russia, including their Cold War entanglement and current geopolitical issues that might impact future relations between the world's eminent nuclear powers.

Dr. Khrushchev was most recently a senior fellow at Brown University and is the author of several books.
