Anne Hutchinson, a Chautauqua portrayal by Dr. Doris Dwyer, is a Humanities on the Road program, hosted by Nevada Connections Academy and Humbold County Library. Anne Hutchinson was the first European woman to leave a lasting mark on American culture. Her prolonged legal and religious struggles raise questions that continue to engage Americans in the 21st century. Dr. Dwyer teaches history at Western Nevada College. She is nationally known for her Chautauqua performances of remarkable women. This event is a program of Nevada Humanities.
