At 1:10 p.m., fifty minutes before the concert, a scholar will discuss the music to be performed in the concert, which places the music in a larger historical and cultural context. At 2:00 p.m., Music Director Theodore Kuchar leads the RCO in Schubert's famous "Unfinished" Symphony and Janacek's Lachian Dances, and guest cellist Zuill Bailey is featured in Elgar's Cello Concerto.
