The Food Bank of Northern Nevada presents a community symposium led by Ms. Terie Druessi-Smith, who co-authored Bridges Out of Poverty; Strategies for Professionals and Communities. Ms. Druessi-Smith has worked extensively with youth-based service agencies, community coalitions, and schools, and she has assisted communities in redesigning policies and services for families and youth in generational poverty.
