Barbara Martinez Jitner, filmmaker and human rights activist, will speak at 7:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Prior to her talk, the film Bordertown will be shown at 5:00 p.m. in the theatre. Bordertown, a political thriller about the murdered factory workers in Juarez, Mexico, was inspired by Martinez Jitner's critically acclaimed documentary, La Frontera.
