Created by Lied Discovery Children's Museum, this exhibition will return to Las Vegas and be on display from November 27, 2010 through January 2, 2011 before continuing its four year North American tour. Torn from Home: My Life as a Refugee provides children with a balanced introduction to the plight of refugees with stories from Congo, Columbia, and Afghanistan. Through participating in this exhibit, children and visitors will gain a better understanding of the uncertainty, yet hope, in the refugee camps and have the opportunity to communicate and learn about refugees in their own neighborhoods.
