A family reading program, Breakfast with Books begins with a story read aloud, a take-home literacy activity presented in both English and Spanish, and a light breakfast for children and their families. Facilitators stress the importance of reading aloud with the family. The story is followed by a raffle, and each participant, including parents and siblings, will go home with a book.
