Description: Ulysses S. Grant, a Chautauqua portrayal by Frank Mullen Jr., is a Humanities on the Road Program hosted by Sierra View Library. Hiram Ulysses Grant was a failure in civilian life, but as a general he saved the nation and was twice elected its president. April 2011 marks the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War. This program is free and open to the public. Grant is portrayed by Frank Mullen  who is an investigative reporter. For information, call Sierra View Library at 775-827-4224.
