The exhibit chronicles the interconnection between the building of the historic Nevada Test Site and the growth of Las Vegas during the 1950s,1960s, and 1970s. The program will promote a better understanding of the Cold War era in Las Vegas and the culture that developed as a result of it. Ann Ronald will give a talk called Friendly Fallout in the fall of 2011. For more information, contact the Atomic Testing Museum at 702-794-5151 or see www.atomictestingmuseum.org.
