Getting to Chautauqua & Parking

Nevada Humanities Chautauqua takes place Sunday, June 21 – Thursday, June 25, 2009, at the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater at Bartley Ranch Regional Park, 6000 Bartley Ranch Road, Reno. Parking is plentiful and free. Doors open for evening performances at 5:00 pm.

How to Purchase Chautauqua Tickets

Nevada Humanities Chautauqua tickets are available online at nevadahumanities.org or at the gate the evening of the performance. General admission is $15 per night/$45 per weeklong pass. General admission allows first come/first served access to unreserved seats and lawn (only low-back chairs and blankets on the grass). Reserved seating is $30 per night/$90 per weeklong pass. Reserved seating is only available for purchase online. Reserved seating tickets allow access to a block of seats in a prime location held for reserved ticket holders. Seats are not assigned. With reserved seats you can arrive any time you want and get a great seat. Doors open for evening performances at 5:00 pm. Call Nevada Humanities at 775-784-6587 for assistance with ticket purchases. Admission for the Sunday, June 21, evening program is free.

Chautauqua Picnics & Fare

Excellent food is offered for sale by Men Wielding Fire near the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater during evening performances on Sunday – Thursday. Picnic baskets are also welcome; wine and other beverages permitted, but no glass containers or glasses are allowed: plastic or paper only.

Accessibility & Assistance

Handicapped parking is available at Bartley Ranch Regional Park near the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater. Handicapped seating is also available, and the amphitheater is wheelchair accessible. Sign language interpreters will be on stage during the Monday – Thursday evening performances.
