Humanities on the Road
Humanities on the Road is a speakers bureau that sends Nevada's college professors, writers and other scholars "on the road." For a modest fee, Humanities on the Road makes high-quality programs on literary and historical subjects available to audiences throughout the state. Two types of programs are available- lectures and Chautauqua presentations. Chautauqua presentations are portrayals of significant historical figures by humanities scholars.
Humanities on the Road programs are available to any non-profit organization in Nevada. They are frequently used by libraries, community centers, churches, service clubs and schools. Most of the programs can be tailored to both adult and student groups.
