Gear Up to Give on GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide, is coming and you can be part of the movement to fund our statewide and virtual work. 

This year’s GivingTuesday kicks off at 12:00 a.m. on December 1 and marks the official start of the giving season. Nevada Humanities invites you to participate and help us meet our goal of raising $5,000. You will have the chance to unite our community around causes you believe in and to help a nonprofit organization, like Nevada Humanities, connect with the greater good that comes out of Nevada. 

Join other generous donors in Nevada on this GivingTuesday, and support the work of Nevada Humanities. 

Did you know that on average Nevada Humanities:

  • Reaches over 2,058,600 people in Nevada through over 3,170 Nevada Humanities programs, events, and digital media outreach. Our programs, which have now moved online due to COVID-19, preserve and increase the vibrant quality of life, instill a strong sense of place, and enhance education networks that we have in Nevada.

  • Partners with over 100 Nevada organizations and agencies to bring you creative educational and cultural programming through Nevada Humanities grants.
