Lee Ann Roripaugh is the author of Beyond Heart Mountain, which was selected by Ishmael Reed as a National Poetry Series winner. She was South Dakota's Poet Laureate and is the author of books of poems including Tsunami vs the Fukushima (2019), Dandarians (2014), and On the Cusp of a Dangerous Year (2009).
