Join Nevada Humanities as we welcome in the winter and the holiday season with artist Bobbie Ann Howell's paper bird workshop. This folded paper design can hang or rest on a table, a mantel, or nest in your Christmas tree. Supplies will be provided. The workshop will cover the basic pattern, folding, and design options.
Birds are a vital aspect of our nature that bring beauty, music, and joy across the world. Nevada is part of the Pacific Flyway that many species of birds use to rest and feed during their annual migration, as well as the many species that call Nevada home. Our state bird, the Mountain Bluebird, is one of many birds you can discover in our parks, forests, deserts, wetlands, and even in your own backyard.
