Nevada Reads In Your Library: Earth Day Art Workshop

  • Clark County Library 1401 East Flamingo Road Las Vegas, NV, 89119 United States (map)

Help reduce your trash footprint by creating art out of items you might otherwise throw away. Bring cleaned recyclables like plastic bottles, bottle caps, milk cartons, pie trays and more to create unique art to be displayed at the Clark County Library in celebration of Earth Day.  Discarded newspapers, magazines and old books for recycling into art will be supplied by the library. Learn from Cheresa Taing, artist and Education Program Manager at Get Outdoors Nevada on how to reuse trash to create art that also shares a message about our local environment, the Mojave Desert, and how to Leave No Trace.

Free and open to the public. Reservations recommended. For more information, visit lvccld.org or call 702-507-3458.
