Join us for a conversation on music, ritual and trance, and mental health with Dr. Tamara Turner! We will play the game Melatonin before sharing some self-care exercises.

Dr. Tamara Turner has spent 30 years studying, working with, and utilizing the healing power of music and dance across culture. As a musician, ethnomusicologist, and cultural/medical anthropologist, she has spent the last 15 years working and living with music healing communities in North Africa who use music and dance to heal emotional and physical suffering and trauma. As a researcher, she works in arts, health, and culture to support and advocate for diverse cosmologies and modalities of healing.
