Aditya Desai is the Program Officer for Literature at Maryland Humanities, which he joined the organization after a decade-long career as a literary writer, teacher, editor, publisher, programmer, and freelance book consultant. He has worked with several organizations in the region that use arts towards equity and justice, including the Citylit Project, Baltimore Youth Arts, and the Asian Pasifika Arts Collective.
He also serves as Associate Editor for the South Asian Avant-Garde. He holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is currently pursuing a PhD student in English at Old Dominion University.
