Gigi Naglak serves as Director of Programs at the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, where she oversees programs that provide funding, capacity, and skill building for the state’s outstanding cultural institutions. She joined the NJCH staff in 2016 after 15 years working in museum education and public engagement. Gigi has a BA in history and theatre arts from Drew University and an MA in Performance Studies from King’s College London in conjunction with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. When not helping organizations build their humanities programs, Gigi can be found performing and producing theatre, particularly the two-woman show she creates with her best friend, Chlamydia dell’Arte: A Sex-Ed Burlesque. She also spends a good portion of her time wrangling her motley household of four kids, one husband, one turtle, and a slightly bloodthirsty hamster.
