Join Black Mountain Institute, the Las Vegas Philharmonic, and the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District for Surface Tension: A Salon, an evening of art and community at the West Las Vegas Library.
Surface Tension brings together local artists and performers on the stage at the West Las Vegas Library’s performing arts center, for one night only! BMI has invited each artist or group to take inspiration from the shared theme of “water,” and what water means in our desert home.
Surface Tension’s program includes a circus artist, a filmmaker and soundscape creator, the Nuwu Wonumeegah dancers, Clark County Poets Laureate past and present, and special guest Joshua Roman – cellist, composer, and Musician-in-Residence at the Las Vegas Philharmonic.
Tickets are free; registration is requested. Please arrive early to enjoy an interactive welcome with Meow Wolf.
This program is funded in part by a grant from Nevada Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
