Nevada Humanities presents “Circle of Animal by Artist and Naturalist, Sharon K. Schafer” , a new exhibition on display at the Nevada Humanities Program Gallery, from October 3 - November 26, 2024. Join us on Thursday, October 3rd for a reception and artist's talk with the artist. The reception will be from 5 - 8 pm, with the artist's talk starting at 6 pm.

The exhibition is a series of black and white images are messages from the edge, warnings of our growing estrangement from the world and the desperate need to recognize and accept our place in nature. These photographs are a reminder that humanity’s deepest fear is not that we are separate from nature, but rather, that we are a part of it.

Viewing hours at the Nevada Humanities Program Gallery are Tuesdays through Fridays from 1 to 5 pm PT, and until 9 pm PT, the first Friday of the month for First Friday events.
