Celebrate Nevada's amazing night skies during a full moon hike with the Stargazer Inn and Bristlecone General Store, and Friends of Nevada Wilderness staff. Meet at the Bristlecone General Store at 8:15 pm for an orientation from Liz Woolsey, Owner of the Stargazer Inn/Bristlecone General Store and brief notes from Jim Stanger, Community and Development Manager at Friends of Nevada Wilderness. Participants will then caravan to a nearby trail and hike three miles under moonlight while learning about dark sky conservation in Nevada, starry sky facts, and more. All participants will receive a copy of Sagebrush to Sandstone: A Humanities Guide to Outdoor Nevada. This event is free and open to the public.

Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water. Hiking poles optional. No flashlights needed!
