You're Skating on Native Land: Affirming Youth of Color in Educational and Community Spaces through Skate Pedagogy

Thursday, February 29 | Day 2: All Wheels Skate Jam! Professional Skate Team Demo! Skate Trick Competitions and Prizes! Skate Merch Raffles!
Come skate with (or just watch!) the Apache Skate Team! Bring your wheels (all wheels welcome); non-skaters welcome too!
Enjoy up close views of Apache Skateboards' professional skaters as they take to the skies in demonstrating the liberatory reality of skate pedagogy in real life! Attendees who come to skate will build solidarity, skating with the Apache Skate Team and each other!
Additionally there will be skateboarding related t-shirt and professionally designed skate deck raffles and skate trick competitions and food!
Participate in the raffles and skate trick competitions for a chance to win t-shirts and other apparel, and unique skateboard decks, from Apache Skateboards, Haikya Nuwu Skateboards, and Death Drop Roller Skate Shop!
Fifth Sun Project, Her 38 Roses, and Indigenous Vision will also be offering a free community beading circle workshop. All ages and levels are welcome. Supplies, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
