Suyash Kumar Neupane is a Ph.D. candidate in Ethnomusicology (with a minor in Food Anthropology) at Indiana University, Bloomington. He am interested in sensory ethnography as a tool to explore the intersections of ethnomusicology, sound studies, and food anthropology. He has also been recently engaged in exploring how 80s aesthetics and nostalgia are (re)imagined in the context of internet born artforms, particularly synthwave.
