  • Walter E. Washington Convention Center Washington, D.C. (map)

The 2023 National Book Festival will return to the Washington Convention Center on Saturday, August 12. The festival theme, "Everyone Has a Story," celebrates the storyteller in us all.

If you are not able to join the festival in person, tune into sessions throughout the day on loc.gov/bookfest. Videos of all presentations will be made available on demand in the weeks after the festival. Find the schedule and more details at: www.loc.gov/events/2023-national-book-festival

The Nevada Center for the Book has selected one youth book and one adult book by Nevada authors to represent the state at the 2023 Library of Congress National Book Festival: Nudi Gill: Poison Powerhouse of the Sea by Bonnie Kelso and Chasing Giants: In Search of the World's Largest Freshwater Fish by Zeb Hogan and Stefan Lovgren. Both titles will be part of the National Center for the Book's Great Reads from Great Places program.
