Join us for a creative workshop on art journaling and gelatin printing with artist Candace Garlock! Garlock will introduce participants to art journaling and the gelatin-based printmaking process. Workshop participants’ initial “play” with the process will be inspired by their favorite quotes or writings. This is a safe, non-toxic water-based project for people ages 12 to adult. 

Participants will need to bring their own sketchbook/art journal and a variety of black art pens, such as markers, brush pens, drawing, or calligraphy pens. All other materials will be provided. The program is free and seating is limited. Registration is required.

This workshop is presented by Nevada Humanities in partnership with Clark County Parks & Recreation and the Winchester Dondero Cultural Center.
