Heather Lang-Cassera introduces featured poet Rayven Channelle.

Rayven Channelle grew up listening to jazz & 90s soul. Born May 21st 1999, she grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada where she spent most of her life writing poetry. Rayven Channelle's sound consists of the musical elements of blues, jazz, r&b and neo-soul. Together these genres create a poetic rhythm and soulful sound. Her greatest purpose is to make her listeners feel and only intention is to give her listeners the same feelings her idols gave her. "Life is poetry," says the soul singer & poet Rayven Channelle. Ebony C., a Virginia native, found a passion for writing at a very young age when she was first published in the 1989 Edition of the Young Authors Anthology of Poetry. After winning several writing competitions before high school, writing truly became a passion and recognized as a God given gift. Since, Ebony C. has started Ynobe Publishing, LLC to help other writers. She has self published The Preface (a poetry collection) and Motivation for Millennials (a motivational/self-help book).
