Poetry Matters!
Poetry Matters! is a monthly poetry reading series held at the Nevada Humanities Program Gallery in Las Vegas during First Friday, a monthly arts and culture festival held in the Las Vegas Arts District. Nevada Humanities has partnered with the Clark County Poet Laureate Program for this home-grown poetry series, which runs from February through November. Curated and hosted by Heather Lang-Cassera and Ashley Vargas, Poetry Matters! brings to light the value of poetry in Nevada and highlights Nevada and regional visiting poets.
